I have been seeing Dr Aronson for probably 10 years now. She never makes me feel hurried and is a compassionate and sweet lady. In January of this year, 2012, I went to her for some bleeding and pressure problems. She ordered an Ultrasound in her office right then and had me scheduled for a D & C within the week. At the follow up appointment she shared my pathology results (Uterine Ca) and referred me to an OBGYN, Dr Amina Ahmed in Iowa City, specializing in Cancer. Within a month of my initial office visit I was in surgery and on my way to recovery. I am now receiving Chemotheraphy and my prognosis is good. With my type of cancer, aggressive Serous, the surgery put me at 30% chance of return and down to 15% with Chemo and radiation. I will forever be grateful to Dr Aronson for her diligence and care. Every year my PAPS were normal....uterine and ovarian Cancers are silent killers. PTL, my cancer was still contained and had not broke through the uterine wall. Early detection...you always hear it...well, it saves lives!

Dr. Rita Aronson has an awesome bedside manner. I have always felt very comfortable in talking with her about anything. Dr. Aronson makes the time for you and will answer any and all questions you have.
I have never been more comfortable with a Dr. than I have with Dr. Aronson.
I had a slight cold right before my surgery and she called the night before to see how I was doing (after her office hours). That's a Dr. that cares!
