Kursteen and her staff of RN's are friendly, caring, patient listeners. Kursteen went beyond my expectations of help with identifying allergens which were aggravating my serious excrucatingly painful and frustrating case of systemic inflammatory arthritis and episodes of urticaria (itching) severe swelling (angioedema). Besides helping to identify allergy triggers, she determined the my reactions were not true "allergies" which are IgE related but were triggers which were causing the mast cells in my body to burst suddenly or "degranulate" causing huge amounts of cytokines to be suddenly and unexpectedly released into my blood stream causing the itching, swelling, excruciating joint pain, angioedema, subsequent extreme fatigue, and even several episodes of loss of consciousness due to sudden drop in blood pressure.

Kursteen, not only has a sweet and tender bedside manner, but thinks outside the box, and is willing to answer any and all questions! She is most definitely a rare gem, a breath of fresh air after encountering far too many doctors who impatiently brushed me aside because my case was not the typical, easily to solve textbook case. I am soooo thankful for her!
