We were very lucky to find Dr. Routh. He is excellent. Perfect temperament and manner, takes his time, explains things fully, is old enough to have plenty of experience but not so old that he's burned out. He is the kind of doctor we had in the fifties, a real family doctor, very intelligent and sharp, yet warm and friendly. He is also my mom's heart doctor (she is 90). Our whole family loves him and wishes we could find doctors like him in other specialties. Most recently I went to him for a 2nd opinion after having a treadmill test that showed a possible heart abnormality. He did a CAT scan, then spent enough time to fully show me the pictures and explain that my heart was in very good shape and that the first test was erroneous. He even pointed out the two tiny areas of plaque and told me my heart rated a "15", where "1,000" rating is fully clogged. He gets 5 stars in my book!
