I sought out Dr. Cotter for a second opinion because I did not feel that my current OB/GYN who I had been seeing for over 10 years was giving me all the options for my situation. I was fortunate to have done so and felt comfortable with Dr. Cotter immediately. She has a gentle confidence and explained all the options to me in great detail. She even called me a few days post op to see how I was(I didn't call since I was doing well). Thanks to her I am recovering with 3 small band-aid covered incisions instead of a larger 5 inch one. I would recommend Dr. Cotter to any of my friends or family without hesitation. He staff also impressed me as being considerate and on top of things. It is a breath of fresh air to go to a woman friendly and well run practice.

I have been going to Dr. Cotter for many years. She delivered my son, and also performed my LAVH. She is very warm and caring, and ready to listen to her patients. I have found her to be very encouraging and sensitive, with the good experiences (pregnancy and delivery) and the more traumatic (LAVH).
