Dr, Goodwin is wonderful. I've been a patient of hers since 2003. Shes a hard worker , she cares alot about her patience. I was having very painful & sometimes heavy periods. I was just sitting in the waiting room with my husband in tears not knowing what she would do. I was crying when she came to see me the the room , and she calmed me down. She said she would be there for me. She doesn't like her periods either. So she set me up with surgery to copperize the erea , It didnt work, so then she finally said do you want a Hysterecomy I said in tears yes get rid of this pain these hellish periods PLEASE. If any is having these same problems with thier period go and have the surgery . It was set up I had the surgery the best thing i ever did. Shes the best. A Plus to the best OBGYN in sandiego. God bless her and her husband and soon to be her new baby in feb, 2008.

Oh my goodness, Dr. Kim Goodwin in San Diego, CA is my OBGYN angel. She did my myomectolomy I had a large tumor sitting right in between my uterus wall and the outside wall, I was scared and nervous and the last thing I heard was her voice talking to me telling me she was right by my side and that she was going to take good care of me. The surgery went fine, then she also did my hystorectomy in 2005. Again I was freakin out and scared and the last thing I remember her telling me was she was going to take care of me and I distinctly remember her holding my hand when I started to go under I was crying and scared because there's a part when the drugs kick in that you have no control in vision, words, body movement but you know that your falling asleep but at the same time your trying to fight it. I have always felt that moment is the scariest Dr. Goodwin wiped my tears and held my hand and I went to sleep. I woke up and everyting was fine, Dr. Kim Goodwin went through some very difficult times with me in my life loosing my chances of having a baby and all the surgeries and recovery but she was there when ever I needed her.
