I had many years of well- woman checks before I had a suspicious ovarian ultrasound. My mother had ovarian cancer, so as an adjunct to my regular exams, I had been having the sonograms. One year, I had a funky looking sonogram. Dr. Paroski is very conservative and cautious, and gave me options along with her recommendations. She is very caring, kind, and truly listens to my concerns, worries, etc. I had a hysterectomy, and she was great at the follow up visits. Dr. Paroski has additionally helped me out when my primary care physician was out of town, plus my GI doctor was unavailable. It was the beginning of a long weekend, and I was in so much pain I was unable to eat. Her office happened to be in the same bulding as my primary care physician, and I was a walk-in to her office on a day/time when she is doing procedures and not doing office visits. Her office staff were amazing and listened to my concerns, and in between the doctor's procedures, her staff grabbed her and explained what was going on with me. She called me into her office, and within an hour, had me admitted to the hospital with a highly respected GI doctor and a separate surgeon overseeing CT scans, endoscopies, etc. SHe is highly respected by her medical peers, and on the personal side, she is so nice and fun, you just want to go catch coffee and have girlfriend time with her. A real gem of a woman and doctor all rolled into one.
