Dr. Wagner is a wonderful OB/Gyn. I've been seeing this doctor since I was in my early 20's. He is very knowledgeable. He is patient, kind and he is not judgemental in the slightest. I feel very comfortable with this doctor; up to the time I began seeing this Dr., I preferred women doctors, especially for OB/Gyn services. But Dr. Wagner is just wonderful. I highly recommend him.
Three years ago, at the age of 39, I had to have a hysterectomy, which Dr. Wagner also performed. I chose to have the hysterectomy because I suffered from severe pain due, in most part, to fibroid tumors and (unknown at the time) endometriosis. I chose to have a somewhat radical surgery at the time, which I believe they now call supracervical hysterectomy. There were potential problems and concerns, especially given that I have never had a child, the tumors were large and they (along with the uterus) would be somewhat tricky to remove vaginally. I was scared to have this surgery. Dr. Wagner understood that and offered me several other options/choices. I went with my instincts and trusted Dr. Wagner.
Dr. Wagner performed a miracle. I recovered in three weeks. I was able to have sex (with care) after 14 days - not due to pressure from my husband, but rather because I was feeling that recovered, that good and that eager to do so, and it was, at most, briefly uncomfortable. I still have my ovaries and my cervix, but the uterus is gone entirely along with all of the massive fibroid tumors. My pain was eliminated entirely. I have freedom of movement with no pain, I have no visible scars (unless you really look for them), and my sex life is better than I ever thought possible.
Although, in truth, a woman's recovery has a lot to do with her own body, physical condition (I am 200lbs and 5'4), and health, I have to credit Dr. Wagner for his skills as a doctor and a surgeon. I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.
