After years of other doctors misdiagnosing me (to include telling me it was all in my head), I came to the office of Dr. Sheppard Sr.
He was SO thorough. He refused just make assumptions based on symptoms. He did everything in his power to find the REAL source of the pain I had been having for the last several years. And find it he did.
He performed scope surgery on me and during the procedure he found out that I have extensive and severe adhesions all throughout my pelvic area and abdomen. He took lots of pictures to show me even. He took his time and made sure I understood everything that was going on in my body. And then he told me what his recommendations were for fixing the problem. And he even let me keep the pictures in case I wanted to get a second opinion!
For the first time, I feel like I have a doctor who will listen to me and talk to me as a PERSON instead of a number. I feel very safe in his care.
I have and will continue to sing the praises of this doctor.
