After having my gallbladder out in August 2006 by Dr. Carey, I want to say he did an excellent job. My surgery was done by the scope which resulted in 4 tiny incisions which have healed very well as of this writing, January 2007, I've not had any after affects. He's a very good surgeon, and my follow-ups with him were very pleasant. I'd recommend him to anyone.
