Dr. Kamer-Thompson was my first gynecologist when I needed to start seeing one. She was my favorite from the start. I have seen other gynecologist for other reasons beyond our control but in the end I was with her again. I am a patient of our local health clinic & since she works with patients there, I had the wonderful opportunity to be with her again. She is very straight forward, thorough & always made sure I understood everything that was said in our appointments. She was also my surgeon for my hysterectomy & the morning of the surgery she came in ready to go with a smile on her face but made she met with my husband first. She spoke with him after the surgery & made sure he was aware of everything. The surgery was a success & I would highly recommend Dr. Kamer-Thompson to anyone looking for a good gynecologist/surgeon. She is completely trustworthy & thorough, made me very comfortable with the procedure & because of the way she handles her practice, everything has gone off without any hiccups. I'd give her 5 stars!!!

Dr. Kamer-Thompson is an outstanding gynocologist. She performed surgery on me a few years ago and when the nurse was walking me to my room before the surgery she asked me who my doctor was...when I told her it was Kamer-Thompson, she grinned and said, "You have the best doctor in this hospital." I replied, "Bet you tell all the patients that..." to which she replied, "Nope...I only say that when they ARE the best." I feel lucky to have her by my side.

Dr KT is the most knowledgeable and compassionate gyno/OB I have ever had. She goes out of her way to explain procedures and discuss disease processes with you and your family. When you leave her office you have a feeling that your doctor really cares, and that is important for such an embarassing appointment.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kamer-Thompson's for six years now and I think that she is wonderful. She delievered my son 6yrs ago, and of course was my OB for the entire time and she was wonderful. She also has been my GYN for the last 6ys and recently I had to have a hysterectomy that she performed and she was great. Her bedside manner was wonderful, she was very comforting, friendly and very trustworthy. I could go on about her but in short I would highly recommend her to any women looking for a GYN......

Dr. Kamer-Thompson was very professional and thorough. She was also very understanding and sympathetic to my situation. I never felt "talked down to" the way some physicians can make you feel. She did not immediately recommend a hysterectomy but suggested and tried other types of treatment first. Dr. KT's staff was also very helpful and friendly. When I developed a post-surgical urinary tract infection during the holidays, I only had to make one phone call and I was taken care of. I was even out of town at the time but the doc returned my call and didn't even act "aggravated" that I had interupted her family time. I would definetly recommend Dr. KT!!
