I was referred to Dr. Bowling by my wonderful physician Dr. Bullard. I am a 46 yr old post gastric bypass patient. Dr. Bowling removed a large fibroid tumor as well as my uterus.I had robotic assisted surgery and she had to make an incision as well to remove my uterus due to the size. I can not belive the care this physician provides. I have had many doctors in the past, so I feel I can tell when a doctor is caring, compassionate and above all, an expert at what she does. You just can not find that today. I have had some complications, and I am still having them, however, she is always patient, taking into consideration not only my physical, but also emotional state. She just will not stop until she finds satisfactory answers to any thing regarding you as her patient. I had to get "stuck" repeatedly at the hospital and Dr. Bowling went out of her way to get a cream to numb my arm so it would be more tolerable. Many doctors could take a lesson from her compassion--she truly cares. As soon as I met her, I had a sense of calm and comfort- it radiates from her. If you mention her name to any doctor in this area, everyone knows of her expertise. If you are afraid, she will comfort you with her knowledge, experience and no nonsense approach. I can not stress enough that most surgeons do not have the perfect blend of personality and expertise. If you are looking for a person who will do everything in their power to help you, this is the doctor for you. And, as an added bonus, she surrounds herself with an upbeat, positive support staff-everyone from receptionists, to nurses reflect professionalism and compassion. I did not experience a wait time to see her-- I mean nothing unusual for a surgeon of her caliber. I would highly recommend this doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bowling for almost 5 years for ovarian cancer. She is an amazing doctor and an amazing surgeon. She goes above and beyond in the care of her patients, even assisting in helping postpone my husbands deployment to Iraq so that he could be there throughout my treatment. She's extremely understanding, and gives an abundance of information.

I was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer and suffered some extensive injuries during my surgery to remove the cancer. I went to a new surgeon to repair the damage sustained in my original surgery. My surgeon brought Dr. Bowling in on my case due to injuries to the uterus, cervix and vaginal wall. Dr. Bowling performed a full hysterectomy and repaired the rupture in the vaginal wall. She is so kind and compassionate. I am still in recovery from my most recent surgeries and seeing her on a regular basis. She is a wonderful, caring doctor/surgeon, and I would reccomend anyone with gynecology problems or a gynecological cancer to see her. She is part of a wonderful team that I credit with saving my life and providing me with the best outcome possible for a full and active life again.

Dr. Marsha Bowling did a radical hysterectomy for me in 1983, when she was only in her early 30's. She was magnificant. I had large cell invasive cervical cancer. At the time she practiced in Albuquerque NM. She saved my life. She was the most dedicated young woman I have ever met. Anyone that places their well being in her hands is so fortunate. I am now 60 years old and I thank her for my still being alive.
I never really had the chance to thank her enough. Thank you Dr. Bowling for giving me my life!

I was referred to Dr. Bowling several years ago because of a possible cancerous ovarian tumor. She was wonderful. She conferenced with me in a caring, compassionate manner while informing me of exactly what might happen. Before and after my surgery, she ordered thoughtful procedures that helped with my surgery and recovery, ie. having an epidural and having a triangular bar over my bed to help pull myself up in bed after my hysterectomy. I never told her before how much I appreciated her expertise and her manner. I have had a few surgeries with other doctors since then for other reasons, and every one of them made me appreciate Dr. Bowling more and more. I still think of her and how kind she is. Anyone would be fortunate to have this woman for their personal physician!!

I met Dr. Bowling in July 2007. She was a recommendation from my OB/GYN. She performed a radical abdominal hysterectomy at age 27. I was also diagnosed with Stage III Ovarian Cancer.
Dr. Bowling has been there every step on the way me. She is compassionate about her patients and their families. And passionate about her work.
She has helped me thourgh surgery, recovery, chemo, check-ups and other areas of concerns. Even if it is not in her area of expertise.
I would absolutely recommend Dr. Bowling.

It is rare in this day and age of medicine to find a physician that has the time to be personally involved with their patients needs. Dr. Marcia Bowling is such a physician. Dr. Bowling performed a hysterectomy on me and I had complications. She and her partner were extremely kind and attentive to my personal health needs and worked diligently to assist me in my recovery. She truly believes in what she does and her patients reap the benefits of her compassion.

Dr. Bowling is considered the BEST oncologist/gynocologist in the Cincinnati area. Most Doctors know of her by name. She was my treating physician for cervical cancer that resulted in a radical hysterectomy. I am 27 years old and Dr. Bowling went out of her way with everything for me, even down to the placement of the incision because of my age. She can be very difficult to get in to see and sometimes you will need to wait for a while on appointment days but I promise she is more than worth it.
