Dr. Osterman has performed surgery for both my daughter and me. I needed surgery for the basal joint on my thumb. Not only did I regained full use of the thumb, but you can barely see the incision in my hand. I now need to have surgery on the left hand and will soon schedule that surgery with Dr. Osterman.
Dr. Osterman is very kind and compassionate. He does often run late with appointments, but this is because of the time he spends with each patient. My daughter broke the humerous bone in her right arm while away at college. The only surgeon avaiable to her for surgery at the local hospital was one that was not held in very high regard and certified in foot and ankle surgery. We picked her up at school and drove her four hours to see Dr. Osterman. Since this happened over the weekend, we had no way of scheduling an appointment. We called before arriving and they fit us into his schedule and he put her on his operating schedule the next day. The bone was shattered in her arm.
The local doc was going to cut two large incisions in her arm. Dr. Osterman only cut one long incision and she has gained full use of her hand, wrist, and arm. We are so happy with our decision to take her to him. We are certain we would not have had such good results had we not done this.
Dr. Osterman is an excellent surgeon that demonstrates kindness and compassion for his patients. If you are looking for a great hand, arm or shoulder surgeon, don't hesitate in calling Dr. Osterman.
