My young daughter was miserable for years with allergies and chronic sinus infection. Visits to family practice doctors didn't help and they even diagnosed her with asthma. So I finally braced myself for what I thought would be a long, expensive, beat-around-the-bush trial and error treatment and prescriptions with an allergist. BUT at the very first visit to Dr. Wiens, he knew exactly what she needed to put her on the road to improvement. In two visits, I learned exactly what medicines she needed and when. We live 2 hours from his office. As a father of 5, he listens to mom, and when I knew she needed a certain prescription, he called back on a SATURDAY and called the prescription in for me without needing a visit. It's been 3 years since that first visit, and my daughter does not have asthma, does not have to take her allergy prescriptions every day, and is able to participate in all her favorite activities without a tissue in her hand. Even though she was only 5 at that first visit, she is still so grateful that she gives him hug at every annual visit! I highly recommend Dr. Wiens, he really knows his stuff!
