I absolutely love Dr. Gemmell! I always felt that she was 100% there for me and my questions when i met with her, I know she had other patients to see, but she never made me feel that way. I have had four kids and she was there to deliver ALL four of them. (From most moms I've spoken to, that is almost unheard of). They were not all scheduled births either- she made herself available to be there for me which was so important. I don't want another Dr. delivering my babies- if it's at all possible- after months of visits with the one I've specifically chosen . However- the 1 or 2 times i did have another Dr. for an appointment or the nurse practitioner, they were also incredibly professional and caring. I would definately recommend her as well as the others in the office to anyone!

Dr. Gemmell took time to talk to me about my options and let me decide for myself. She works at the Avenues Women Clinic which is a practice dedicated to women by women. I felt comfortable there. I am 38 and haven't had children ( in a Morman state, no less) yet I was treated with respect and not as a freak. Dr. Gemmell answered all my questions, spoke to my partner Eric as an equal to me (not as "just a boyfriend" as I have received in other places). She was very kind and cheerful with a lot of experience in OBGYN. I would reccommend her for any proceedures associated with this practice. I went in for a surgery consultation for a hyst.
