In October 2006 I had a hysterectomy and gastric bypass weightloss surgery at the same time. I had two surgeons and Dr. Germer did the hysterectomy. Her follow-up care was wonderful. I knew I had a good doctor before the surgery since I'd seen her for about two years before we decided on a complete hysterectomy due to family history and my current symptoms, but when there were a couple of minor complications to the surgery Nancy Germer was there for me!! She saw me everyday during my 5 days in the hospital, staying over an hour on Sunday when she was off and really did not have to be there. My gastric surgeon went on vacation the day after the surgery and his back-up was nonexistant, so I was really greatful for the care Dr. Germer showed. She's been very good about listening to me and going with what works for me-rather than than prescribing the "norm." She came highly recommended to me by another female doctor who see Dr. Germer also. It means a lot when another doctor recommends and actually sees the person themselves. I will be Nancy Germer's patient until she retires!!!!
