Dr. Birnbaum seen me when I was at a very low point, My chronic pelvic pain, continued after 2 surgeries and 3 wrong diagnosis by other MD's & OBGYN's.
He is a specialist in reproductive endocrinologist, Chronic Pelvic pain & PCOS
I contacted him via e-mail, and I asked if he thought he could help me, my local doctors told me they done all they could and they kept passing me around to different specialties and I wasn't getting answers, except to stay on pain killers.
Dr. Birnbaum said he likes a challenge and to make an appointment & bring my records. He sends out a questionair to help organize symptoms & what was tried in the past. I took my record, photo's of surgeries, lab results & pathology reports with me.
He spent over an hour with me & had a suspicion about my problem. I got the MRI done and his suspicion was right. He also helped me learn to fight for myself, I was so use to doctors not finding anything that when the local nurse told me there wasn't anything wrong on the results, I believed her. Dr. B read the same report but seen something was there & encouraged me to make sure the doctor seen the report & not just the nurse.
When My doctor did see the report they called to schedule surgery.
Dr. Birnbaum, got my local doctors to step up and see the problem that I have. I look forward to having this problem finally resolved after surgery and I didn't have that hope before meeting him.
