Dr. Noah Rodriguez was the fellow surgeon assisting Dr. Colleen Feltmate (Dana-Farber) for my stage one endometrial cancer surgery, a difficult complete hysterectomy, in June '10 at Brigham & Women's hospital, Boston, MA. Both doctors are exceptionally gifted.
Dr. Noah Rodriguez has a special inner gift, a calm, focused, and steady light. He must be very talented to be assisting Dr. Feltmate, who is very gifted. I saw him briefly before surgery but primarily in recovery at B&W when he came around to check in each day often trailing a few residents for training.
His manner is deeply calming, respectful, thoughtful, and caring. His attention and presence in the swirl of endlessly changing staff post surgery was deeply calming and comforting. As a middle aged woman, with all the good and bad men who have effected my life, it was profound to look into the eyes of a male stranger and realize he'd held my life in his hands. Dr. Rodriguez is very aware of such trust and holds it very sacred.
Both doctors are a gift to us all and I am so thankful for their rigor and compassion.
