Dr. Darwish is an excellent OBGYN and surgeon. When I was diagnosed with fibroid tumors the very first thing she did was calm me and offer me multiple resources to help me understand my choices.
I left her office with booklets and she emailed two links that provided information on procedures that were options for me.
Choosing how to handle my tumors was a difficult decision but Dr. Darwish answered every question I emailed her quickly and with great attention to detail.When I decided that surgery was the option that made the most sense for my situation Dr Darwish made sure that I understood how my procedure worked and that I was comfortable with each component of my choice. She took the time to build a caring and professional relationship with my family and I that was based upon trust and honesty. By the day of my surgery I was not afraid but relaxed and at total peace because I knew I could trust my doctor.
On the day of my surgery Dr Darwish visited my family and I in my room before the surgery answering their last few questions. She even laughed at my brothers bad jokes. The day after my surgery she called me at home to check on me and gave me additional tips for my recovery.
I am truly great full to Dr Darwish for helping me get healthy. My procedure was life changing and the perfect choice for me. She made an event that started out frightening become one of great peace.
I believe every woman and her family deserve a wonderful doctor like Dr. Darwish when they are presented with difficult decisions. I highly recommend her!
