I had a laparascopic assisted supracervical hysterectomy-- a relatively new procedure.
Dr. Schwabe is excellent about taking the time to talk to his patients, be in during an appointment or on the phone. He was very careful about explaining the options I had, and the details of the different surgical procedures.
Since the LASH is a new type of surgery, not many doctors are trained to perform it yet. I appreciated having a doctor who was still training in new technologies to make for an easier recovery. This less-invasive surgical procedure was a great choice for me, and has provided the simplest, most comfortable post-op recovery I've ever experienced.
The doctor is very friendly, open and frank, and seems to genuinely care about finding the best treatment possible for each individual patient. His office staff are also friendly and personable and make each visit or phone call very pleasant and supportive. I feel very comfortable asking questions and asking for help, and I've been very happy with both the personal and business interactions with Dr. Schwabe and his entire staff.
