I have seen a dermatologist for several years now, and was recently diagnosed with Psoriasis. This doctor saw me about every 2 months, treating some warts on my hand, and we tried several different remedies including injections in the scalp for the psoriasis with no success. They suspected I might have psoriasis on my outer genital area, but they were not sure. They were not willing to try anything else, and the psoriasis never cleared up completely. I finally decided to see a new Dr, and my internist recommended Dr. Emily Levin MD. Right away she said I needed to see her about every 2 weeks to clear up the warts, and she told me to use medicated shampoo every day for the psoriasis of my scalp, and gave me samples of a medication for the inside of my ears as well. She said without a doubt that yes I had psoriasis of the outer genital. Within 3 weeks, my scalp was clear. Within 12 weeks my warts on my hands were gone. I also used the same medication I used for my ears in my genital area, and that cleared up as well is a couple of weeks. To this day it is hard for me to believe that these issues I had for well over a year was cleared up in a matter of weeks.
