I first met Dr. Purani when I attended an appointment with a friend. She was so compassionate and understanding, I knew I had to become her patient too. Being a female herself she truely understands issues relating to the female reproductive organs. She was aggressive in treating me and tried many things to avoid performing my hysterectomy but when it was apparent it was time to do the surgery she did it without making me jump through hoops. I had seen many other ob-gyns and all of them wanted me to spend years tracking my periods and doing nothing for the pain I was suffering. Dr. Purani is a wonderful doctor.
