He is awesome. He takes his time and explains everything to you. I always felt that he treated me like I was his only patient. His staff is great too. They are very nice and understanding. I would highly recomend this Dr. He did my hysterectomy and I never felt like he was pressuring me into anything. He answered all of my questions and I was able to make an informed decision that worked for me. I did have to decide whether to have my ovaries removed or not. Because he took the time to tell me all of my options, risks, health considerations, etc, I felt that I made the right decision for myself. Highly recomended.

After over a year of miserable cycles and pain. I was so tired of the fact my OBGYN was doing nothing. I had been seeing him for years and hated to think of changing. But it came to the fact, he didn't even know who I was while I was there. There were times he even re-suggested treatments we had already tried and never worked. There was actually a time I had to say to him "I already did that" and he quickly grabbed my chart and said "oh you did" "well lets just wait then and see if this works" Finally I took the suggestion to trying a new doctor. Dr Mayer is great, right off the bat he reviewed my situation and suggested treatments and alternatives. He was willing to listen, review and wanting to help me out. His entire office was wonderful to me both pre-op and post-op, I was so greatful to have found such a wonderful Doctor and staff. I never felt comfortable with my other OB-GYN, I can't pick an exact reason. It is just after seeing Dr Mayer, I was no longer confused, I felt relief, I felt assured he was watching out for me.
