I have been attending York Women's Health Center in York, PA since I have lived here. I began by just seeing a very good, smart Nurse Practiioner. Her name was Nancy Shenk. I would highly recomend her as well. I had always had problems such as difficult Periods, and very heavy bleeding.
Eventually, it became too much, so I was referrred to Dr. Paul Douglas, who has been a Dr at the practice for a very long time. After a few consultations, and an ultrasound, it was determoined I really needed a complete and Total Hysterectomy. My husband and I did not want children, so we went ahead witht he surgery. He and his team of nurses were right there from beginning to end,. Being thrown into menopause at 34 yrs is tough, but I am now doing well, with Climara patch. Highly recomended!
