This is to all you guys that are involved in your wifes care. I am a cardiovascular intensive care R.N. and my wife is Dr. Kohn's patient. He delivered our 3rd child two years ago and i switched insurances just so that he could deliver our fourth. I did my homework and got the inside word from the delivery room and post partum nurses before I chose him and they all said the same thing,, YES! Several of the nurses I work with are also his patients and thats where I got my recommendation from. Everything you have read so far on this site is true. From a husbands point of view and as a healthcare professional myself (I go to all of my wifes appointments with her, have never missed a single one in any of my wifes previous and current prenatal care.) I can attest that he is the right and easy choice to make. I trust his judgement fully. Hope this helps someone.

Dr Kohn is the best. He has been there for me from day one. I have been his patient for 8 years now. He has performed two laproscopy's on me for my endometriois. I felt in such good hands. He explain's everthing fully and he welcomes your questions. He does not rush you through your visit. He take the time and truly listens to his patients. His bedside manner is wonderful. Also if you call and leave a message for the him he calls you back that same day. I highly recommend everyone to have dr Kohn has their doctor.

The earlier post couldnt' have said it better. I had to change to him after my original doctor refused to allow me to attempt a natural birth with my twins. He listened to me, respected my wants, and gave me the opportunity to experience the birth of my children! He was a perfect doctor and continues to be! I am soo grateful to have found him, and I am honored that he was the first person my babies saw! :)

Do you want someone who is warm, kind, and LISTENS to you? Look no further--Dr. Fred Kohn is the BEST! He has helped me for the last few years with all my female problems, and in January '06, performed my hysterectomy. His medical advice helped me get through some rough times, and he is so gentle...what a great MD! I recovered beautifully from my surgery, which was in no small part from his expertise and great suggestions post-op. Dr. Kohn is extremely attentive to you, both physically and emotionally, and he listens, listens, listens, instead of just going "uh-huh". He explains everything in detail before just doing it. If you live in Southern CA, in the northwestern area, you might want to check out Dr. Kohn. He is such an asset to his medical field, and a blessing to all his patients!! (He also has a great staff!)
