I had been to another doctor regarding my health concerns. Ordinarily I would not have gone but I felt that my discomfort was worth going. After visiting this particular doctor, I was not comfortable with him and his approach especially after he literally spent ten minutes with me. I contacted another women's clinic in Seattle and their initial recommendation was the doctor that I had already seen. After explaining my circumstances involving him, the next referral was Dr. McGonigle. I contacted her office and spoke with a very personable assistant, made the appointment, met with the Dr. This wonderful doctor spent two hours with me explaining what was going on and the need to get the procedure done. She left it up to me when I thought I would be ready. Ultimately, the goal was to set it out until June. My scheduled date is 4/21/2010 a little sooner than anticipated since I have encountered some complications. This is a wonderful doctor and I truly recommend her. Dr. McGonigle listens, does not talk down to you and explains.

Dr. McGonigle saved my life. She was the only doctor I trusted to operate on me after I was diagnosed with cancer. So many of my friends had horrible experiences with their doctors, but I never felt that way with Dr. McGonigle. I am now a 5-plus year survivor -- thanks to her! Her new office at Northwest Hospital in Seattle is also state-of-the-art, beautifully decorated, and very warm and inviting. Now that I am cancer-free I only see her for routine checkups, and now look forward to these visits.
