When it comes to treating interstitial cystitis, Dr. Burstein is one of the truly compassionate doctors in the USA. He is passionately interested in urologic disorders. He has a zest for knowledge but, unlike some more notable physicians, he's a neutralist. He doesn't push any one approach to treating IC but rather targets therapy based upon your specific symptoms and situation. He understands, implicitly, the devastation of pain in the bladder and pelvis and will work with you to help improve your condition so that you can resume a more normal life. Also provides pelvic floor assessments, etc. etc. Very cheerful, encouraging and experienced.
