Dr. Long is my Medical Oncologist at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Long's area of oncology is breast and gyn cancers. I first saw him following my surgery and then again a few weeks later to set up my chemo treatments. We discussed in thorough the pros and cons of standard treatment versus a study. Based on my diagnosis, we went with the standard treatment. Each visit, we go over all the tests thay were done and discuss any concerns I have. He is not rushed duringn appointments and spends all the time we need explaining everythin, even three years past surgery and chemo treatments. I am able to talk with his nurse or him any time I have a concern. I definitely recommend Dr. Long for chemo treatments.
