Doctor Boatwright made me feel comfortable and is straight forward with her diagnosis. She was able to diagnosis endometriosis from a hand exam and later confirmed by laparoscopy. I had seen my other doctor for ten years and neither ever mentioned endo, she knew in one minute. She is also cautious and honest regarding woman’s chances of conceiving. Her demeanor is relaxed which I like and stern, she will not allow you to drive yourself nuts! Neither will Pam her awesome surgical nurse.

Dr. Boatwright is an excellent doctor. Unfortunately it seems that there are times when her schedule is quite busy so it can seem as if your rushed to explain your symptoms or why you are there for your appointment.
She performed my Total Hysterectomy about 6 years ago. I do feel good much better after having gone through this procedure but I wish that someone would have given me more warning about how much more prone I would become to depression. I would reccommend her to other potential patients.
Again, I would also reccommend that she warn her patients about the potential side effects of having a hysterectomy done.

I had gone to doctors for over 3 years with my symptoms, including the top hospital in the Chicago area ( Northwestern) and had been told that it was all in my head. My manager at work (a man) referred me to Dr. Boatwright. She not only listened to me but found what my problem was, endometriosis (sp). I sat on her table and cried like a baby, just relieved that somebody was actually validating that there was indeed something wrong with me. She did my hysterectomy and I have been pain free ever since. She is a wonderful doctor and I would recomend her to any woman.
