Dr. Chapman is great at explaining and offering alternatives, and she never rushes or avoids discussions. She is quick and efficient doing routine procedures, never leaving me uncomfortable as has often happened with other gyn's. When I required surgery, she was very thorough in her explanations, offering options and discussing relative merits. She did an outstanding job with my surgery. Afterwards, I had some complications - not from her work but from the urologist's work that was done while I was still "under" from the procedures she did. I went to her in tears when the urologist failed to provide adequate follow-up care; he dismissed my concerns and discomfort. Dr. Chapman could rightfully have dismissed me as not her problem - instead, she compassionately and uncomplainingly stepped in to provide the care that the urologist should have provided. I highly recommend her, both for routine care and as a surgeon.
