I love Dr. Mona Ghosh and would recommend her to anyone who is pregnant in the Schaumburg area. She went above and beyond a doctor's duty. She was very helpful ,kind and considerate during my entire high risk pregnancy and spent a lot of time answering all my questions. Never rushed me or shut me down.Her office has ultasound and bloodtests done there so I never had to go anywhere else.The staff always are nice and remember youand greet you. They tried to always make my appointments the earliest so I could go for work .Or they would fit me into Saturdays.During my delivery itself Dr. Ghosh was constantly in touch unlike my previous experience when the doctor just turned up at the very end.She always explained what was happening and what she was going to do.I found that very nice .Also unlike other doctors I could always talk to her if I had an emergency -like when I had some spotting during my pregnancy or finally when my water broke and I went into labor.She was very patient with me.I actually transferred from another doctor and her office got all my previous records. I wanted to deliver at a hospital with the best baby specialists -so I did my research and found that she is affiliated with the only hospital in the area with the highest level (i think its called a Level 3 hospital).She is affiliated with other hospitals too and offered me a choice, but although I personally stay in Elgin I chose a hospital actually further away from me (Hoffman Estates)so my baby would not have to be transferred away.My pregnancy was high risk and I am a high maintenance patient per my husband.That is why I had to write this for Dr. Ghosh. I liked that the doctor whom I saw in my pregnancy was the actual one delivering me and not someone on call whom I had never met before.Thanks for everything Dr Ghosh.Our family loves you as do your other patients.
