Well i was 5 months along in my pregnancy and was very unhappy with my ob/gyn at the time and decided to find someone else. So my husband began to look up other ob/gyn's nearby. When he ran across Dr. Livingston, who had some of the best reviews and high ratings for this area. Mind you I've always had female doctors because of my level of comfort with them so i was a little skeptical about crossing over to a male doctor. I went ahead and scheduled an appt with him just to keep up with my monthly check-ups and see what he was all about. When i came in for my first visit i was very impressed with the set-up/flow of things and of all the pictures of children he had delivered. They even have a Quest Diagnostics within their facility, which made getting bloodwork done so much more convenient!! With my original ob/gyn i had to get blood work done elsewhere, sometimes her machines (heartbeat and ultrasound) wouldnt work or have everything needed for proper use, the staff mixed up my paperwork, and i had so many unanswered questions when i left. But, Dr. Livingston and his staff provided me with a gift bag containing info on what to expect, what i can/can not eat or medications to take, samples of prenatals, magazines on babies, cord blood info, parenting classes info, and methods of pain relief during labor and delivery. He also made me feel very comfortable and answered any question i had. Even after my visit i talked with a co-worker about how satisfied i was with my doctor (never even mentioning his name) and she began to tell me about how great her doctor was who was also in Irving. So we discovered that we had both been to and experienced the AWESOMENESS of Dr. Livingston.
Was it helpful to you?
