Dr. Gratkins is the best doctor that I have ever had. I had 2 high risk pregnancies, one in 1997, and the other in 2004. He has always been very helpful, and is willing to answer any questions that I may have. Dr. Gratkins has also performed 4 surgeries on me throughout the years with most of these being a laproscopic type of surgery. Please note, that I did have to see two different doctors as well during this time because of insurance reasons not covering Dr. Gratkins, and had 2 other laproscopic surgeries with these other doctors. The one major thing that I noticed after having the surgeries with Dr. Gratkins is that I never have had any of the horrible gas pains left over from him filling my stomach up with gas. I don't know what he does, but I didn't have any pain, and not even the first day! I told him this, and he told me that he has special tricks to make sure that he gets all of this out! I don't care what these tricks are because I have had to experience these pains before with other doctors, and they are horrible. Both times, this is the reason that it took me longer to recover because of the horrible shoulder pains due to the excess gas that was left in my stomach. I'm having a couple minor set backs from a surgery that Dr. Gratkins performed a couple of weeks ago. However, these complications don't have anything to do with how Dr. Gratkins performed the surgery itself. During this time, Dr. Gratkins and his staff have been very helpful and they are there to answer my questions and squeeze me in to be seen when needed. I'm kind of sad that after this surgery I may not have too many reasons to go back and see Dr. Gratkins, but then again, maybe he'll still be around delivering babies in 15 years or so when my daughters start having families of their own! I will definetely recommend him to them, and anyone else needing an obstetric or gynecology doctor. Thank you Dr. Gratkins and staff for everything you do!
