I have been dealing with Gyn issues since the birth of my last child in 1993. Dr Maney was very compassionate and caring. She actively involved me in my care, by always providing options as well as discussing the pros and cons. Surgery was not the first option. After developing problems again it was decided to have a hysterectomy. She fully explained the options, procedures, and what to expect afterwards. She has been awesome and supportive. Always takes the time to sit and listen and is up to date on the most recent literature and practices. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She provides both high and low risk obstetrical care, performs minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic hysterectomy) utilizing the daVinci robot at Sparrow Hospital, and enjoys working with menopausal and perimenopausal women on their unique issues.
