After three yearsof seeing two other doctors who rushed into a diagnosis and recommended treatments that made matters WORSE, Dr. Greaves took the time to HEAR what I was struggling with and never dismissed my pain. She then recommended several OPTIONS for treatment rather than telling me what I "needed to do". She is straightforward in her explanations, but allows me to fully participate in and decide on a course of action after I take the time to become fully informed and feel comfortable with a decision. Because she was willing to listen and investigate, she found something the other two doctors missed. She hasn't always agreed with my decisions, but has given me the room to be responsible for my own health, and helped me to find what was right for me. Her ability to listen and investigate cautiously are invaluable. She is a wonderful guide, teacher and caregiver and has given me back my dignity and hope. Her patience, encouragement and support have gone a long way to helping me embark on this very important path with confidence and strength.
