I had a lot of problems growing up, but they kind of resolved themselves with drugs. In 2002 they showed up again. I went to many different doctors until 2009 when I went to Dr. Alam. He's across the street from me, but because he didn't practice at a particular hospital, I didn't go to him. He immediately had a sonogram done and take care of a problem I was born with. The other problems weren't dealt with immediately, but part of that was my fault. He's always been good about calling back and is very comforting.
I"m not that crazy about the Nurse Practitioner, but you might have a different experience.
Be sure to have questions ready and participate in your healthcare was well.
He also does a lot of volunteer work in third world countries, which is nice to hear as well.
