I was referred to Dr. Amer Karam after I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis. No doctor has ever impressed me as much as he has. He spent more than 30 minutes with me during our initial consultation. During this appointment he displayed an extensive knowledge of my medical history and when I inquired how he knew things I did not include in my paperwork, he stated that he had spent time studying my medical history with UCLA before coming in to see me. Dr. Karam presented numerous options for me including a hysterectomy. I left his office that day with reading material on the subject of hysterectomies and other options, along with the Dr.'s cell and work ph # and his email address. Whenever I called or emailed him with questions he would get back to me in a timely manner. Dr. Karam performed my hysterectomy on 3/27/12. Everything went great and he was very attentive afterwards, calling to check on me and to give me my lab results. I highly recommend Dr. Amer Karam.
