Dr. Ramsey took the place of a woman OB that I had seen before she left this practice. He is warm and caring and takes the time to listen to his patients. I had a hystory of uterine and ovarian problems including cysts, fibroids, really heavy and painful periods but absolutely did not want to get a hysterectomy. Dr. Ramsey respected my decision and just gave me brochures about the DaVinci procedure.
I finally decided that getting rid of what I called "Freddy the Free-Loading Fibroid" was the best thing to do and Dr. Ramsey did the procedure. At my post-operative check up he showed me a picture of my uterus and circled the mass he labled "Freddy".
My hysterectomy was a good decision, even after 3 years of hot flashes.
For any woman in this area who is afraid of doctors, I cannot recommend shawn Ramsy strongly enough.
