I found Doctor Simotas just from my insurance list.
She has a small office with the same people working in the office everyday. You are able to know who is on the phone and there is one nurse that is amazing. She even came to see me after surgery!!
Dr Simotas is busy but she is thorough! She does her homework to make sure she has exhausted all efforts before you get surgery. She listens! Most importantly, she is experienced, diligent! She also does a clean amazing job and works to make little to no scaring.
Sometimes she is so busy she will walk in the room and make you feel like she doesn't remember who you are. She should probably slow down and read over the notes before she walks in because a few minutes into the appointment after speaking to you and reading notes her memory is in gear!
She performed a total hysterectomy on me with overlies left in. She answered all my questions and even called me personally two or three times to make sure they accommodated me as much as possible. I was able to email her if I had any questions/concerns arise after or BEFORE surgery. She reassured me that I could change my mind anytime up until they put me under. Her staff were patient and didn't make me feel I was calling to much etc. They understood what a big decision this was and treated it as such.
