I was very pleased to have been referred to Dr Al-Kunani by my PCP. I am a Medicaid/Aetna Better Health patient, and was worried I wouldn't get the best care. When I met her, my fears were put to rest... she is a very caring professional that will listen to your concerns and help you to feel better about your treatment options. I see her in the Hoffman Estates office, and have never waited too long for an appointment. The staff there is very helpful and friendly.
Specifically, I saw Dr Al-Kunani for complications that eventually led to a hysterectomy in my early 40's. I had been trying more conservative treatment options for a few years before finally considering surgery. I learned that she is very experienced and skilled at Da Vinci robot assisted Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, and knew immediately that I was fortunate to be under her care. The whole experience has been relatively uneventful and routine, and I credit her confidence and ability for that.
I am Catholic, and Dr Al-Kunani listened, empathized and helped satisfy my religious concerns regarding abortifacient birth control and surgery as well.
