doctor Ricardo E. Estape is the type of doctor all of us wish we could have in all types of care. Kind, Listens to concerns, lays out all the options. I was a full participant in decision making. He gave this to me. I have been to physicians who say we need this test and this test and you have no options. There was a test that i could have underwent before my Hysterectomy. Together we determined that since the surgery has to be done. I chose no more tests. He respected my wishes. I did not feel it was necessary to spend more money on a test that would tell me all i need to know after the surgery.
Dr. Estape was pleasant, did not speak over my head, and was able to offer the latest options for full hysterectomy. my surgery was scheduled quickly. less than one week. Instructions were precise and all has went well. I am 5 day post op. Called office once for infomation and response was immediate. He and his staff have been excellent to me, caring, kept their word and make me feel better. I had the Davinci robotic hysterectomy. all parts were removed.Experience is a definate plus in this type of surgery. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Estape after our conversation. I am glad I chose him as my surgeon. He was my second opinion. He was recommended by my first opinion.
