I was lucky to find Dr. Amy Abouzied when my uterine health was in rapid decline. She spent as much time as I needed discussing options that led to my LAVH (hysterectomy). Two days before the operation I changed my mind about the DaVinci surgery and her main concern was that I was comfortable with my decision, and we went forward with the LAVH. I was so scared and she really got on the level with me to calm my fears. I am 15 days post op and so happy I won't be suffering anymore. I couldn't be happier with having her as my doctor. Full recommendation. I went around in circles for years with other specialists and we cut right to the chase. She listened to exactly what I was saying and dissected every option until we arrived at this one. So much pain and time wasted. I wish I had some sort of criticism for improvement, but as far as I am concerned, she really shines in her chosen specialty. She understands without being jaded.
