For anyone with Kaiser Permanente insurance, I recommend Dr. Emily Wu. She is very cheerful, friendly, comforting, and always has the patient's best interest at heart. I came to her with fibroid problems and, with her help, settled on a hysterectomy. She walked me and my husband through the entire procedure and during my surgery took it upon herself to avoid cutting into a large tattoo on my stomach - even though I had not mentioned it at all. The only minor issue I had was being mad to feel like I should have been more upset about not being able to have kids anymore.
