This woman truly saved my life. I was critically ill with an undiagnosed problem. She was extremely diligent. You will never meet a more compassionate and caring doctor. Truly dedicated to her profession. I wouldn't be here today with out her help.

If you are looking for an outstanding ob/gyn doctor in Queens--then I highly recommend Dr. Martin. Dr. Martin sincerely cares about her patients. She has a great bedside manner, follows up with patients concerns and goes beyond to make sure her patients sure her patients are healthy and ok. Unlike some others, Dr. Martin orders the necessary tests she professionally believes you should have it. Take, for example, she will ask you about your family history. If you tell her something runs in your family, she will not only recommend that you are monitored --but will remember and follow up to make sure she orders the necessary battery of test to make sure your are ok. Many other doctors will make the recommendations but will not follow-up and order necessary testing in advance and as a precaution. It is very important -- especially for people of color to get screened EARLY. Dr. Martin will not leave you hanging.

Also, during my pregnancy, she was absolutely the BEST. She does right by you and makes sure the hospital does right by you too. I ended up having to have a C-section but it went well. In fact, you could hardly see the cut. What cut? Being pregnant was my first experience having to see a doctor several times and my first real experience in the hospital having surgery..... I could not ask for a better doctor. Funny enough was am always a little weir of doctors... but during the last visit I remember thinking "doctors like Anita are not so bad after all. I am soooo grateful that I found her. I am sure you will feel the same way.

Dr. Martin is an excellent physician and surgeon. I was initially impressed by her confidence and efficiency. She and her staff are cheerful and personable. She carefully explained the facts about my fibroid condition and the options. Her patience and caring really encouraged me to be more proactive in achieving and maintaining good health. Dr. Martin's diligence and being up-to-date on current research in medicine was essential to my well-being and speedy recovery after surgery.
