Dr Cobden was my Ortho Doctor from the time of my birth until he moved to Alaska. I was born with several birth defects (which I am unable to spell) including severe club feet, congential hip displacia and actual missing joints. Dr Cobden was THE ONLY one who knew that I would walk and that I did at 3 with over 3 surgery appointments and more than I can count office visits, casts, special equipment. Dr Cobden (or Dr Richard as I called him when I learned to talk) was always straight forward with my parents, explaining all that was going to take place and his goal for my future. He and his staff was always friendly and Dr Richard would spend as much time with me and my parents as was necessary to explain procedures. I am from Grass Valley, CA and over the years the efforts Dr Richard made have improved my life, however, I have been unable to find a Doctor that provided me with what he did.
