For years I had been in pain. Gone to numerious Dr.s and know one would listen to what I had to say. They seemed to like to get as much money from tests, over and over that were always negative. I kept telling them it was my body and I knew something was wrong with my ovaries and uterus, I could tell because the pain I had was consistant. I was in pain 3 weeks out of the month and I had what I called episoeds every time during ovaulation time. Even though it was my body I did not know what I was talking about, at least that is what they said. At the time I was 33 years old and no one would touch me even though I had 2 children already, they said I was to young. So they expected me to live my life in pain. I was referred to Dr. Jennifer Smith by a friend of mine. The very first time I met her I knew she was the one to listen to what I had to say. She was my life saver. I was ready to give up on life totally, I was in such pain for so long I was depressed. She listen to me with open ears and heart and knew that I had had enough. She told me that if I wanted to have a hyster. she would do it. With in one weeks time I was under the knife and to much of her dismay, I was a mangled mess. One ovary was behind my uterus and the other was tangled in my intestines, My uterus was I believe stuck to my stomache and my stomache was stuck to my bladder. Not sure how I even had two healthy girls, even an ultrasound did not show what she found after I was cut open. She had it tested and it was not endomitiosous, still to this day she don't know what it was that caused it. But what I do know is all my pain is gone. I do have hot flashes from time to time but I would rather go through that then pain any day. I am not on any hormone replacement for the fear of breast cancer that my boss is now dieing of thanks to hormone replacements she was on. I just take Chocolate flavored vitamin and calcium chews every now and then, you can find them in any vitamin isle in your favorite store. I also recommend a bone density scan from time to time to make sure you do not get ostioprosiost. It's been a year and a half and I have no problems with my bones, or pain anymore thanks to Dr Jenn Smith. She was my angel, a very loving and caring person indeed.
