I think Dr. Walker is an excellent doctor. My last pregnancy I had a doctor from Wisconsin and they were always taking blood and doing a pap test at every apt. With Dr. Walker he is kind, gentle and he doesn't do unnessicary stuff. He has been my doctor since October(2nd child) and he has helped me out alot! I would recommend him to everyone. I have several friends that already switched to him!

I have used Dr Walker since the late 80's. Was my doctor through 2 pregnancies, delivered my children, always made me feel comfortable and when ever I needed something or a unscheduled appointment, he would always get me in. He has a ton of knowledge and experience. I feel blessed to have him as my doctor for the last 20 years, especially in such a small town like Key West! Thank you Richard! Oh, and my best friends all use him and feel the same!!

Dr. Walker has been my Doctor since 1993. I was diagnosed upon my yearly exam with a Subserosal Fibroid in 2006 when it was the size of a golf ball. I skipped my 2007 exam so when I went in Oct 2008 he said my fibroid had grown to the size of a softball. He advised me my ovaries look good so I shouldn't have them removed but he would know more once I was in the OR. My husband and I had decided 11 years ago not to have children and with that decision he urged me to have a Partial Hysterectomy (SUH). He continued to advise me my severe back aches would continue if I didn't have the procedure done now and eventually I would have to have the fibroid removed but the incision would be a vertical incision instead of the horizontal incision which has a longer recovery and is more painful. He advised I would be in the hospital for two days if healing went as he expected and he has done countless Hysterectomies in our small town of Key West. I scheduled my surgery with him for Nov. 7. At 38 years of age, this was my first surgery. Dr. Walker's unwavering ability to answer my countless barrage of questions and his delivery of straight answers with a dash of good humour and his patience in explaining details of what will happen on the day of surgery prepared me and my husband mentally for pre-op and post-op. Richard visited briefly with me the day of surgery prior to his scrubbing in which made me completely comforted seeing him. My surgery took 1 hour and the Doctor waited for me in to wake in recovery to talk to me. He made plenty of visits to my hospital room while I was recovering and surprised me at 8am on the 2nd day to tell me I could go home. It's Thanksgiving and I am celebrating my 3rd week post-op. My entire experience has been amazing and I highly recommend Dr. Walker as a competent, skilled, gracious and good humoured surgeon. His office staff, Melissa and Lisa, are polite and knowledgeable and only accentuate his professionalism as a top rate Doctor in the OB/GYN field.

He was a very nice doctor. And made me feel comfortable. I highly recomend him. I actually came to this page because I was searching for his number online rather than calling 411 and I ran into this website.

Dr. Richard Walker has been my OB/GYN for over 10 years...he recently performed my TAH...Dr. Walker has a great sense of humor and is easy to talk to...I have never felt that him rushed me out of his office...instead, I feel that he takes great care to make sure he answers any questions that I may have before leaving his office. I am, also, a breast cancer survivor and was a patient of Dr. Walker's when I was diagnosed...I have asked him for his opinion on other medical matters that I have been dealing with. He always answers my inquiries on medical matters with honest straightforward advice.
