Dr. Fly is an amazing doctor and a kind and understanding woman. I've been her patient for over a year now. I've had cancer and I also have diabetes, insulin dependent.
Dr. Fly is very conscientious. She keeps a close tab on my condition. She is always helpful in her suggestions. I like the fact that she suggests and I choose my options.
She's always willing to listen. She'll take the time needed to address all your questions and concerns. She's got empathy which is a rare and special quality.
She makes me feel like I have importance. She always remembers what's going on for me and she's proactive to prevent problems before they occur. She has been very understanding and helpful particularly when I discovered I had cancer. She even pointed me in the direction of an online support group that really was a great help.
She doesn't forget that she's human and that her family and friends are too. And she uses her life experience in her practice. An example of what I mean is: I am very overweight, which affects my diabetes. And although she has recommended I lose weight, she totally gets that it's a true battle that I am not winning. And she doesn't make me feel like it's my "fault" I have diabetes because I'm fat.
Dr. Fly treats me as a whole person. She understands that my health is affected by my life, not just that my health affects my life. She's caring, compassionate, and skilled. She's a great doctor!
