I have been a patient of Dr. Hinkle's for over 7 years. I first met her in the ER the day after Christmas 1999 when I was brought in due to severe vaginal bleeding. It was then that I found out I had endometriosis. Since then (I changed doctors right away..I was so impressed with her), I have been working with Dr. Hinkle to battle the disease and in February 2007 I had a hysterectomy. It's been the best thing I ever did and she has done a wonderful job. No complications, no problems..and I feel that I can now move on with my life. Not only is she knowledgable, but she is also cheerful, comforting, friendly, and reassuring. A doctor's "bedside manner" plays a huge role. It's unfortunate that some have forgotten the human factor in medicine, but Dr. Hinkle has not.
