Dr Taras no longer delivers babies-he specializes in Gynecology and Menopause.
I was looking for a new Doctor when I was very disatisfied with the care I was receiving (and entering Menopuase)-and he was recommeded to me by a Coumpounding Pharmacist. I was hesitant at first-really wanting a female Doc-but decided to go see him on the pharmacist rec. He is AMAZING! He is very kind & caring, and actually LISTENS when you talk to him-and gives you way more than the usual 5 minute office visit! He is open to and extremely knowledgable about bio-identical HRT-and also performs a minimally invasive hysterectomy LSH. I had this procedure with Dr Taras 11 days ago and highly recommend any woman who is told she needs a hysterectomy to check into this laproscopic procedure. Previus Drs had told me they would need to do TAH including the cervix and "why would you want to keep your ovaries" I am thrilled that I was able to keep both-and just get rid of the defective parts!
Dr Ian Taras has been a godsend in my crazy menopause part of ife!
