Dr. Marc Kappelman is truly committed to top quality patient care. I have been a patient of his for over 20 years with six full-term pregnancies (he delivered five of them himself!). He is in solo practice, so anytime you need to be seen, you know you will be seeing him personally. This has been very important to me, because I need to know that my doctor is going to see me when I need him and that he will know my history and not have to read back through the notes of several other doctors. He is easily available for appointments, and if you have to cancel your annual appointment, you can typically be rescheduled within days or a couple of weeks, unlike some offices where it may be months before you can be rescheduled.

In addition to my obstetrics care, Dr. Kappelman also performed other necessary medical and surgical procedures for me, including my hysterectomy. He is absolutely meticulous with his care! He is highly regarded by the nursing staff at the hospital. He frequently follows up with a phone call to insure that recovery is going well and to see if there are any questions. He personally checks over every PAP result. If anything is unusual, he speaks to you himself. He is available by phone for questions and concerns. I find that to be incredibly remarkable in this day and age when in many offices you can only speak to the doctor by appointment, or after you have spoken to the nurse on several occasions first. He is kind, considerate and caring. He is very professional with a personal touch. He listens carefully to your concerns and answers very thoroughly in understandable language. I required the services of a gyn specialist, and Dr. Kappelman was very proactive in referring me out and in following up with me to determine if I had any additional questions or concerns following those specialty appointments.
